Debbie S. Moreno graduated from Chamberlain University for her APRN-FNP. She
is
board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has
more
than 15 years of nephrology nursing practice in the United States. She has 4
years of
nursing instructor experience at an undergraduate nursing school in the Philippines
and
2 years of medical surgical nurse experience at a tertiary hospital in the Philippines.
She joined the Advanced Practice Nurse program to prove to herself that she could
attain a degree while balancing work and family responsibilities. She joined
NNC as it
has a very-good reputation in the valley. She also believes that NNC practices
are
innovative and cohesive.
Debbie feels that extensive knowledge of the field is essential for ensuring
best care of
patients. She has more than 15 years of nephrology experience. She is very
compassionate and feels that being attentive to the needs of patients is her
strength.
She feels that the field of nephrology is rapidly and vastly growing through
recent
innovations, research findings and newer treatment options that give providers
the
avenue to deliver quality service to patients.
She is happily married and raising 3 wonderful kids. During her free time she
likes to
read mystery and adventure novels. She also volunteers at St Elizabeth Ann Seton
Catholic School and Spread the Word Nevada.
