Lubia Oxhorn is one of many Cuban Doctors who left their country with the dream of finding freedom. Lubia left her medical profession behind in 1997 and started to work in the USA in multiple positions.
Today Lubia Oxhorn holds a Doctor in Nursing Practice DNP, Masters in Advance Nursing practice APRN AGNP, Nursing education and Management/ leadership. Lubia graduated as Doctor in Nursing Practice from Touro University on 02 / 2018, Nurse Practitioner with honors from Mariville University on 05 /2016. Lubia began advanced practice as a nephrology nurse practitioner. Her medical knowledge along with her nursing skills and bedside manners provided great impact on the CKD/ESRD patients's lives. Lubia managed dialysis clinics for 9 years prior to that.
